What are the advantages of the commonly used refrigerants

NH3 (Code: R717)

Ammonia is the most widely used medium temperature refrigerant. The solidification temperature of ammonia is -77.7 C. The standard evaporation temperature is 33.3, and the condensation pressure is 1.1 - 1.3MPa at normal temperature. Even when the cooling water temperature is up to 30 C in summer, it is not more than 1.5MPa.

The advantages are: easy to obtain, low price, moderate pressure, high unit cooling capacity, high heat release coefficient, almost insoluble in oil, small flow resistance, easy to find when leakage.

CHClF2 (Code: R22)

R22 is also a halogen of alkane, two fluoro chlormethane, the standard evaporation temperature is about 41 C, the solidification temperature is about 160 C, and the condensation pressure is similar to that of ammonia.

R22 application range is the most widely used: used in reciprocating compressor, used in household air conditioning, central air conditioning, mobile air conditioning, heat pump water heater, dehumidifier, freezing dryer, cold storage, food refrigeration equipment, marine refrigeration equipment, industrial refrigeration, commercial refrigeration, cold freezing condensing unit, supermarket display display cabinet, etc. Refrigeration equipment and so on.

CH2FCF3 (Code: R134a)

As an alternative refrigerant of R12, R134a has very low toxicity and is not flammable in air. The safety category of A1 is A1. The chemical stability of R134a is very good. However, because its water solubility is higher than that of R22, it is unfavorable to the refrigeration system. Even if there is a small amount of water, it will produce acid, carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide under the action of lubricating oil, which will produce corrosion to metal or produce "copper plating", so R134a is dry to the system. The demand for dryness and cleanliness is higher.

R404a refrigerant

R404A is a non azeotropic mixed refrigerant without chlorine. It is colorless gas at room temperature and normal pressure. It is stored in a steel cylinder and is compressed by liquefied gas. Its ODP is 0, so R404A is an environmentally friendly refrigerant that does not destroy the ozone layer.

Main application: R404A is mainly used to replace R22 and R502. It has the characteristics of cleanliness, low toxicity, non combustible and good refrigeration effect. It is widely used in cryogenic system.

R-410a refrigerant

R410A is a non azeotropic mixed refrigerant without chlorinated fluorocarbon at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. It is compressed liquefied gas in a steel cylinder. Its ODP is 0, so R410A is an environmentally friendly refrigerant that does not destroy the ozone layer.

Main uses: R410A is mainly used to replace R22 and R502. It has the characteristics of clean, low toxicity, non flammable and good cooling effect. It is used in a large number of household air conditioners, small commercial air conditioners and household central air conditioners.

R407C

R407C is a chlorine free Fluoroalkane non azeotropic refrigerant, colorless gas stored in steel cylinders and compressed liquefied gas. Its ODP is 0, so R407C is an environmentally friendly refrigerant that does not destroy the ozone layer.

mixed refrigerant

Main uses: R407C is mainly used to replace R22. It has the characteristics of clean, low toxicity, non flammable and good cooling effect. It is used in a large number of household air conditioning and medium and small central air conditioning.

R600a (isobutane)

R600a is a new type of hydrocarbon refrigerant with excellent performance. It is made from natural ingredients without damaging the ozone layer, without greenhouse effect and environmental protection. Its characteristics are high latent heat of evaporation, strong cooling capacity, good flow performance, low conveying pressure, low power consumption and slow recovery of load temperature. Compatible with various compressor lubricants.

R32 (two fluoro methane)

R32 is the main alternative to HCFC-22, as with the low temperature refrigerant mixture. Although it is a zero ozone depletion potential, it has high potential for global warming, and its potential is 550 times that of carbon dioxide every 100 years.

R290 (Bing Wan)

R290, that is, propane, is a new type of environment-friendly refrigerant, mainly used in central air conditioning, heat pump air conditioning, household air conditioning and other small refrigeration equipment. The perfusion volume of R290 under the same volume is small. The test shows that the perfusion volume of R290 under the same system volume is about 43% of R22. Because the latent heat of vaporization of R290 is about 2 times that of R22, the refrigerant circulation system using R290 is smaller. R290 has good material compatibility and can be well compatible with copper, steel, cast iron, lubricating oil and so on.
